One of the guys in this trip has been eyeing a few places in Kentucky and found this gem on Buck Creek which is north of Daniel Boone National forest. the link is fw.ky.gov/education/pages/buck-creek.aspx Tennessee and Kentucky definitel...

Looking for camp/kayak river locations
Hey everyone a couple of my friends from PA/NY and I have been discussing a long weekend kayak trip for quite sometime and I think we finally lit the fire to get it planned for spring/early summer. I have looked at a few spots in Tennessee and North Carolina including Buffalo River, Cumberland River...

Re: RTIC Coolers?
I just bought 2 rtic tumblers and they work great. Fill with ice half way in the morning and at the end of the day only about 1/4-1/3 melted and that's after refilling once or twice sitting in a car most of the day. They appear to be solid construction and don't see much of a difference from the yet...

Re: New to jacksonville.
When I first moved here I hit older retention ponds in any business park I could find. Some don't allow fishing and others you can ask and they won't care... I could be misled but someone told me retention ponds by law/code must be stocked but please don't anyone quote me on that! Sent from my SM-G9...

I look forward to reading more BTB reports... By the way I have one of the inflatable pfd's and removed the auto inflate accessory so the rip c...

Re: Water clarity
Interested to see what others have to say. It's amazing how quick the surf gets mucked up. I went to talbot last year late summer and the vis was incredible(it allowed me to spot the 6' black tip doin the figure 8 between my rods) almost like the gulf, I couldn't believe it. But, a few calm days of ...

Re: What brand braided line do you use? Size? Color?
+1 on the moss green power pro, I use 10# with a 12 lb 2'-3' fluoro leader. Like islandspeed2001 said I also reverse the line at the end of the season whether it needs it or not. I watch for when academy puts it on sale but even full retail it isn't bad for getting 2 years minimum out of it. My surf...
