Re: Lightweight fishing kayak
Get the Ocean Trident, 60lbs and it's one of the fastest paddle yaks on the Market. I have one, it is fast in the water but the front is heavy and can be awkward since it is so damn long when trying to get it off the roof. After a long day of fishing it is not fun trying to get that beast up on the...

Did you get stuck in that clusterfudge going toward Heckscher on the Dames Point?? That crap was backed up for miles and miles!!! Glad I was going the other way and got to the Heckscher area early in the AM before that mess kicked off... Hit a creek off of Heckscher with my dad for the afternoon low...

Nice fish Tim!! When is the season to harvest snook? I know you have to get a tag for them and limit is 1 a day but also I do not know the slot if you can enlighten me on that too. I'd look at the FWC site but for whatever reason it is blocked on my work computer.

How is it for cutting fish? Looks along the lines of a bigger paring knife.

I think most kayak anglers DO NOT use a stringer because Sharks or Gators may want to eat that fish attached to that stringer and that can cause issue in a yak. I do know some that use stringers though, I prefer a soft cooler.

Re: Cold few hours on Horseshoe Creek 1/23/16
Horseshoe is no joke in the wind. One of my most trying times kayaking was a day where it was constant 20mph and the tide came in to eliminate our shelter... It was constant paddling otherwise you'd lose all the ground you just made in a split second. I love horseshoe but if there is any wind then i...

That'll never happen in Internetland. Too many opinions, keyboard gangsters and no repercussions... Nice fish, bummer about your finger and hope it heals up with no issues. Those oysters are sneaky sharp and full of nasty germs.
