Re: Slimed my new Slayer Propel 13

That's a very cool pic. :thumbright:

Caught around 7 or 8 blues off the dock on Saturday, not another bite. They're definitely around.

Re: Ding Darling Wildlife Refuge

Very fishy place; I've been all around Sanibel and Captiva catching big snook, grouper, trout, reds... My cousin is a guide out of Sanibel. I've only done a little bit of kayaking behind "Tween Waters" but I doubt you'll be disappointed. It's one of a kind, in my opinion.

Re: New launching spot

Well with all the rain we've had plus my shoulder surgery rehab, I've been delayed getting down there until this morning. But I did get out there this morning and it looks good. It was dry ground all the way down to the launch and it looked like there will be access at lower tides to launch and retr...

Re: New launching spot

I'm missing something here. Based on the google earth pic that launch point is on airport property which requires an access badge. The road next to it is a taxiway. Yes, it is on airport property, but it's not a badged entrance. The launch area will share the entrance to the Convention Center. I've...

That video is unreal. I personally like the jump at the end because it's so close.

Re: New launching spot

I work out at the St Augustine Airport and have wanted to fish the back side of it for some time. Please if you get something going let us know. I'd be willing to pay a fee to launch n I've scouted this area via Google Earth and have wanted to check it out as well. Per Gerry, this will be open to t...

Re: New launching spot

Gerry was gracious enough to give me a tour of the launch ramp and surrounding proposed recreation area. This is the real deal with multiple small lakes, nature trails, observation area, and launching ramp. I'll post a Google Earth map of the area if Gerry says it's ok, and if anybody wants to conta...

Introduction and Question

First post, long-time lurker. Just bought a Pelican "Flow" SUP and would like suggestions for installing something to mount rod holders towards the nose of the board. http://i937.photobucket.com/albums/ad215/stokes0111/20150729_162233.jpg http://i937.photobucket.com/albums/ad215/stokes0111/20150729_...
