Re: For the Horace family/ Remembering Chad

I had not been able to log online in a while and was sad to see that Chad had left us. Be that as it may he is in better hands than any of us could ever provide. My condolences to you and your family Horace.

Re: Things are slow around here.?

I’m still around as well I just didn’t get to fish at all last year as life decided it was priority over wetting a line. As for Facebook.....Never touch the stuff.

Re: Guana river part 2

Yeah a good rule of thumb for salt water fish is .....just dont put your fingers in any of their mouths till you know the few that you can do that with. Hell half of the bait has teeth too LOL. AS for the sharks, just like was mentioned just cut the line as close as you can safely and send them on. ...

Re: Looking for 3" square aluminum tubing

IM a bit late seeing this but if you ever need aluminum stock T&C metals on the W side is the place to go. I have been buying stock to turn on my lathe for 15yrs or so. Its a warehouse but they sell direct to the public. https://www.google.com/maps/place/T+%26+C+Metals,+5220+US-1,+Jacksonville,+FL+3...

Re: The OlTurkey and the Thanksgiving Cat

Congrats on the beautiful catfish Captain! Now I must ask...is Max the carp licking hound averse to licking a good ole slimed up catfish or were we just being cautious of the spines? Thought he may have just refined his tastes such that only a carp will do :D

That is would be a hell of a catch on a charter with a seasoned captain! The fact that you caught AND LANDED that fish from shore is truly amazing! Awsome job man!

Nice fish Chris! I'll definitely try that recipe too. Post it if you get time. That will give me a good excuse to stop working and go catch a red lol

Re: New to Hobie. need technique advise please

If it doesn't float just have a rope tied to it and paddle out far enough for it to drop out from under and pull it up and stow it. That's what I do with the one I made for my friends PA14. I launch it on the ramp and then paddle it over to the dock and release the bungee that holds it up so it does...

Re: New Classic catagory?

Well said Mike! Thanks for all the time and effort you put into this for so many years to allow us all to have such a great time to fish together and then talk about it afterwards. Eddie I'm right with ya on every level....except fishing lol. Making it easy means I may as well tell my 7, 16, and 19 ...
