Re: New Stradics!!!

Shimano did whole new cosmetic looks for the new Stradic. It's no longer the white Stradic but instead it is silver and blue. Almost like a smaller version of a new Saragossa. I think they are trying to replace the FK for the Ci4+. My C3000 weight in at 7.8 ounce with 20 lbs drag. :thumbright:

portable fish finder

Saw this orange floater while I was searching for fish finder. So you can Bluetooth it with your phone or whatever electronic devices you want. It supposedly works like an actual fish finder. Does anyone on here uses this device before? It pretty cool but I don't if it actually work. http://www.fish...

Re: Beach king fishing

Jax pier isn't that long. Most people there are using the out rigger style and live bait. DONT try to go out there bc they will kill for a spot. lol

Re: Beach king fishing

I would like to get in on a beach launch if yall head out soon. BTW in Jax Beach 8th ave north and 16th ave south you can drive onto the beach to launch your yak. I looked into it and even called the Jax Beach police and they confirmed its all gravy to drive onto the beach to launch a watercraft. k...

Re: Beach king fishing

Its assholes to elbows on the pier and the guys who fish for KF on the end are douche bags. Every time I'm there and I take a corner (always on the left) and I catch anything but KF they get all huffy when I have to maneuver around their poles. Exactly. Let go out there in a group just targeting KF...

Re: Beach king fishing

I have an ocean going kayak.. I was at the Pier yesterday while my Jeep was in the ER, and I seen 4 35-40LB+ Kings get hauled in during the short hours I was there.. If anyone would like to troll along the ocean let me know - my kayak can handle it, but I never go out without the buddy system. When...

Re: Beach king fishing

Last year I tried once and went in and out within a mile, saw a rip getting blasted by kings and tarpon so I trolled my plugs through.... zzzzzzzz. Shark :| I think the best bet would be a day of flatness after a few days of east winds to bring in the clearer water. Good Luck Lol. Hey man when you'...

Thanks Sarverj, I didn't even think of that.
