Re: Something Different: Scalloping!
What sort of joy does one get from trolling on the internet? Everyone knows it's you, crabby, again, why do you insist on coming back here?

Re: Water depth at 6 mile landing?
It's deep enough to launch and fish. still a little shallow for pedals, you have to be pretty far out to use them, but you can paddle all of it just fine. My sister picked up a 25" red and out 150 yards from the launch Saturday.

Dude, is this crabbyyak again?saltcoastkayak wrote:What h.p. motor is on that boat? Isn't Guana Lake limited to 9.9 max. h.p.?
What navigation "hazards" are in Guana Lake? Removing white PVC poles with red tape on them? Looks like someone is removing navigation "markers", not navigation "hazards".

Re: Hobie Mirage leak
More than likely a hairline crack at the front of the drive well, usually on the bottom. Every time you push the pedals the crack will open and pull water in. Hobie may give you a discount on a new hull but you will need to head in to BCO and let them take a look. Don't waste your time trying to fix...

Re: Keeping shrimp alive.
Better to keep them in a cooler and keep the water as cool as possible, as mentioned above with ice in a bag or keep changing out some frozen water bottles. Get a 110v bubbler, keep the water cool and they will live. Also, the more water the better. Many folks will keep them overnight in an aerated ...

Re: Outback Seat Mod
So... I got a stadium seat from academy and popped in on my Revo 13 last night. http://www.academy.com/shop/pdp/the-stadium-chair-company-stadium-chair/pid-162348?color=Black&N=618722483 I'm not in love with the fit, but height and comfort were great. It was a little tippy and I would need to test ...

Re: Outback Seat Mod
Looks really nice Ferg. I saw that setup your using on the net too, when your setting back in the seat will your hand just drop down on the steering lever. I made a adapter to flip the lever around backwards so mine hand would. One thing for sure your going to love the new view and ease getting out...

Outback Seat Mod
2011 Outback that has been well used, Jackson Seat from BCO. I've seen lot of different installs with this seat, most have it mounted so that the seat back is 6 inches or more behind he stock seat. I tried that and it was way to uncomfortable both peddling and constantly reaching for the rudder cont...

Re: Jon boat trailer
Your seller is correct. Under 2k, bill of sale and weight ticket is all you need, very easy process. I have done it twice, most recently was my boat trailer, VIN is gone, I was worried because I had no title, just the bill of sale, they had me get it weighed and registered it as homemade, no big dea...
