Re: March Madness on the Creek (03-24-19)
Great catch. I see you keep the fish lower in the picture to keep the shoreline out of the shot. I need to hit it up but with our move the yak hasn't moved out of the garage

Re: Crescent Beach/Hwy 206 Launch?
I shore fished there last week at VERY HIGH tide 2 reds on soft plastic. and yes the entrance road has broken down but not sure of launching. I will check back this week. There is a small launch directly across the river that is free but has limited parking

Great fishing, I can picture where you were at, And the wind. I still have a house full of N.C. evacuees or I would have been there Saturday.

I read your stories, and have almost decided to go on a road trip. Love catfish and your creek looks like it would be fun. At my age, no chainsaws though

Re: Six Mile Landing
the rain has had minor effect, the contractors are keeping the water low at the dam for repairs. They have to regulate the level to keep it below their actual work area

Re: Guana water level?
I fished the lake side on Saturday, Almost put in on the river side because there was plenty of water. good thing I didn't because at low tide there was 100' of mud at the end of the ramp. Lake side had decent water, between 1-4 feet at most places. I managed 3 trout by trolling a soft plastic, 2 sh...

Go to the Dam, super easy. you can do the lake or try the creek to the south. Not sure how muck water is at 6 mile Landing but that can get skinny.

I agree totally, I have worked with Adam on numerous occasions, and left a goodly portion of my paychecks there based on his sound advice. Great service.

Re: Best light for night kayak fishing
I agree with everything John said. I added the yak light on top of my Power Pole stake. That LED up 8.5' really lights up the area. I also installed Super Nova (green led's) front and rear. Not only do they provide safety for me but I have had shrimp and mullet
actually jump in my yak.
actually jump in my yak.

Re: Power Pole Micro Pole-Worth it?
Go for it, I am almost 70 and for me it was a game changer. I still take a 6' spike in one of my built in rod holders on my PA-12 but have never used it. The power pole and reverse makes a great Yak even better,
