Re: StakeOut Pole Not Holding

Here's one on eBay NIB $529 w/Free S&H. :thumbleft:

Any 3/4" fiberglass pole/pin will work, just needs a point on one end and a stopper on the other.

Re: StakeOut Pole Not Holding

I use the Power-Pole Micro on my 2015 Outback and before that on a PA1 2, love mine and couldn't imagine not having it. You gotta remember that the Micro is different than using a normal stake-out pole, no need to ram/force/drive it into the bottom as the "pin" is just breaking the surface and using...

Re: Ocean Kayak Trident 13 Questions

Had the original Prowler 13 , then the Trident 13 and lastly the Ultra Trident 4.7 . Regarding your question pertaining to the RodPod lid; as long as you have the upgraded ModPod lid and the cinch straps in place, your golden for surf launches. "Oil-canning" usually happens when folks leave the thei...

Quick install of the Power-Pole Micro on 2015 Hobie Outback

My JL Marine Power-Pole Micro Anchor was getting pretty bored sitting up on the garage shelf, so I finally ordered the YakAttack Micro Mount for the new Outback. After a quick consultation with Chuck Wrenn up in Virginia, I started the install. I'll skip over most of the instruction, as Chuck covers...

Re: Questions for Hobie Pro Angler owners

Here are my questions: 1) (only an "experienced" person would ask this one) I troll a lot and the constant paddling is pretty hard on my shoulders -- anyone find that pushing those Hobie pedals is hard on the knees? I don't want to trade a shoulder problem for a knee problem. 28 years of Fire Fight...

Re: Video Review - Vibe Sea Ghost

Really surprised Confluence (Wilderness Systems Orbitz hatch), Johnson Outdoors (Ocean Kayak ModPod cover) & Crack of Dawn (seat) haven't sued the crap out of Vibe for "stealing" they're designs....must be an imported boat??

Here's your video.......

Re: Nice inexpensive waterproof phone case...

IP, looking on Amazon for my phone- Iphone 5C, it looks like this case has a very cheap "waterproof" cover for the power & ext speaker/headphone outlets......is this in fact true with all models or is it an attached cover somewhat like the LifeProof. FWIW- Features: 1.Only suitable for XXXXXX. 2. Wa...

Re: Perception Pescador 14.0 @ Academy

FWIW- Perception Pescador 14 is the old Perception Search 14. The Perception Pescador 13 is a tandem (old Tarpon 13-T) and of course, the Pescador 12 is the old Tarpon 120 . Also, Perception Sport is no longer, due to they're much higher than expected sales, all boats have been returned to the Perce...

2015 Hobie Outback Vantage CT seat modification.

I love my 2015 Outback , after two PA12's, I love dealing with the reduced weight and the ability to paddle when needed and the layout of the redesigned cockpit and most of all- the new Vantage CT seat. If I had any complaint at all, it would be that the Hi/Lo legs stow automatically when I lean for...
