Looks like it had been there a while as it has some barnacles growing on it.

Just go, it is an awesome place! I was in the Dry Tortugas this past Sept camped two nights and had an absolute blast. We never ventured far from the fort to fish and caught all the mangrove snapper on cut pilchards you could ever want. They weren't huge fish but they were keepers,plentiful and will...
