Re: Massive Reds!

While I missed the massive reds, I did manage a few 18ish inch reds. A 20+ inch trout and a couple keeper flounder (separate weekends) Mainly super active on the low tide but the top water has been very effective on calling up trouts and reds of all sizes. Biggest Red on top water in the last month ...

Massive Reds!

Intracoastal - I've been out each of the past two weekends and massive reds have been active on mud flats near deep water. Have not been able to connect with one yet. I've had some close calls with my top water. One red I watched torpedo towards my top water. He was so big, he was pushing a wake. He...

Re: Looking for 1st doormat Flounder

What is considered a doormat flounder?
above 16 inches?

Find mud flats near deep water channels - fish at outgoing tide near and up to dead low. During light rain and or low cloudy days are best.

Re: Redfish have me stumped

Outgoing to around dead low tide is key
Fish the potholes
Find where the drop offs and ledges are
Find the large bait schools and fish the edges
This weekend I connected with a bunch of sub slot reds
A couple of slots too
One got away one I invited home for dinner

Re: Kayak Fishing off Neptune Beach

It's been a while since I have heard anyone post anything about going beyond the breakers. However, I saw a guy out there last week when it was super calm and lots of pogie pods out there. He said he'd been out there all morning and afternoon with zero bites. With the fronts moving through I would n...
