Scope choice: Mil-Dot or BDC
So I just got a .308 bolt gun bull barrel and I am having trouble deciding on a scope for it. Right now I have a 2-7x32 on it and at 100yds yesterday I shot a 5 shot group of 1.098in (measured outside edge to outside edge) but at 200yds I shot a 10 shot group (I only had one target left and 10 round...

Looking for advice for a new compound bow
I'm looking for some suggestions on a new hunting rig, currently I'm shooting a PSE Rally which was a nice starter bow at the time, tho I'm looking for an upgrade in efficiency (speed, weight reduction mainly) something less stiff and more let off than 70%. What are some nice bows that aren't going t...

Replace or just rebuild Delta shower valve?
Hello, After removing an old surround shower I have the valve assembly exposed and easily accessible. Should I replace the whole valve body or just rebuild it? Will I be able to turn the nuts or will it require soldering. I have the soldering tools available to me but wasn't sure if I should take th...

Re: Night Fishing Areas
The main advantage of night fishing is the large fishes like bluegill, sunfish, crappies, and perch that can not see well in the dark but come to search for food. Santa Ana River Lake is one of the heavily stocked spot without a license. Weekends during the summer, the lakes are open for 24-hour fis...

Need a Thermal scopes for long hog hunting
I need advice on buying a thermal scope . Do I put 640 resolution over Refresh rate? Do I spend more for 60 hz over 30 every time? Do I want 50 mm or 100 mm lens? I’ve been looking at Armasight vs ATN. There are so many options. If I can afford a mid to upper range scope, what op tions give me the b...

What scope and mount Remington 700p
Hi everyone
I just bough a Remington 700p in 300 win mag for Elk hunting. I need to get a base, scope mount and scope. Just wanted to get some recommendations on good quality stuff that isn't priced crazy so probably more mid range type stuff.

Rangefinding binoculars vs separate units
presently have Swarovski 10x42 SLC binoculars and the Swarovski Laser Guide Rangefinder. They both have served me well, but I'm intrigued by the Swarovski 10x42 EL Range binoculars. The idea of having to carry just one piece of equipment certainly is attractive. My concerns are the possibility of co...

Recently got a new AR in 300 Blackout and need some suggestions on what scope to put on it. This gun will be a dedicated hog rifle. 16" Heavy SS 1:8 twist barrel with pistol gas system. I will only be shooting supersonics out of it for the foreseeable future. I'll be taking shots from 50-250 yards. ...
